On behalf of the entire members of AMHDD's Board of Trustees, Management and Clinical Staff, thank you for visiting our website. 

The message is that AMHDD, Inc. is truly recognized and appreciated as an advocate torchbearer in furthering public and private awareness on mental illness and developmental disabilities in the state of New Jersey and the nation.

AMHDD, Inc. celebrates its effort studied accomplishments in the provision of intensive in-community counseling services to children, adolescents and families with mental distress, developmental challenges and other socio-educational conditions. 

AMHDD, Inc. appreciates at all times, the privilege and opportunity to service the community at large, as AMHDD,Inc. is endowed with trained, experienced and consumer centered clinical professionals. 

AMHDD, Inc. is committed to advocating for the mentally distressed and developmentally challenged and work assiduously to ensuring fullest attention on State/National Awareness on Mental Illness and Developmental Disabilities and their eventual treatments and management.

Board of Trustees Member 

As a Board of Trustees Member, I am very pleased to have been included in a group that has been committed to Mental Health work for so many years. 

First, let me Welcome and Congratulate each Board Member and Staff Member of AMHDD. Recognition by AMHDD for work done in the community means that acknowledgment of your contributions by the community is not forgotten. Your efforts and contributions have created a better society for all of us. We step safely in the footprints you made in the sands of time. 

Recognition for the potential you have to effect political and social change and improvements especially lets you know that we are not only seeking to curry favor with you to assist us in our community battles, but we are your support, your ears and your eyes. Access to our support demands an awareness of our needs as well as the needs of the larger community in which we serve. As leaders and what we honor most in leaders is the capacity to continue to lead others, to listen to others and to advocate for others. If one is wondering how best you can contribute to our society, then you have taken a very positive first step. It does not matter whether your interest is in the field of health, mental health, science, politics, religion, charity or any other undertaking. Society’s recognition for your work in whatever vocation or secondary vocation you choose will provide greater and more lasting satisfaction. Martha Taylor and AMHDD provides employment to several members of our community, in addition to giving relief to hundreds of people who face severe mental health and sociological challenges, AMHDD Remains as a Valuable Resource in our community and its continued existence as a viable organization must be our pledge and commitment. I encourage you to support us through donations. Please know that your financial gifts are greatly appreciated.

**BOARD OF TRUSTEES** 

We are Governed by a Board of Trustees with a make-up consisting of a unique blend of superior skills and a solid knowledge base. Also, the BOARD consists of strong leaders with diverse cross-systems for collaborative teamwork who are a representative speaking body for people with disabilities. This BOARD consists of Professionals from the Multi Disciplines of Mental Health, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, the Legal Profession, Administrators, The Arts, Business Professionals and Community People in general all sharing a similar vision for the Organization’s Goals and Objectives. Their partnership and collaboration in supporting the mission of the agency in a culturally competent way augments well for the struggle in building our preeminent organization for people with disabilities. We are an experienced Corporation with COMBINED experiences and expertise of MORE than 100 years behind us collectively in the field.
